Warning
Be careful who you trust.
In this age, word goes around quickly. Really quickly. Especially among friends. And especially the 'juicy' bits.
It's amazing how one or two words can easily affect friendships. It's amazing how easily we are influenced to turn against one another.
It's amazing how people love to read so much into situations, draw their own conclusions, then proclaim it as the 'truth'.
***
Then again, maybe it's not so amazing. Maybe i should not be so surprised.
I think I saw it coming along. Like a two speeding cars on a highway heading straight towards each other. You know they are gonna hit. You know there's gonna be an accident. Yet you can't take your eyes off it. You are mesmerized. And then the accident happens. But like in most accidents, innocent bystanders are hurt. Including those who watched guiltily.
***
Nowadays, what is the 'truth'? Is there any truth at all, or just a collection of airs and opinions? Or is it what we choose to believe only, conveniently ignoring the big picture just to find the answer our own selfish selves want to hear?
Be careful with trust. It is a very dangerous thing.

Damn, David. If only you had posted this two weeks earlier, because that same trust you were talking about ate me up and spat me out.
Since that day, I realized it's high time I ditched some 'friends' of mine. Screw the hypocrites; they can all go to hell. At least I know which friends are keepers.
I'm just agreeing with you about the 'trusting friends' thing; suddenly I'm too irritated with the sad reality that happened two weeks back to touch on the 'truth' matter.
