Elections

So, Pak Lah (aka Tidur Lah) says Chinese should vote for BN, because he does not want a one-race government, because he wants all races to be heard etc etc.

Wait...
So does that mean if a Chinese from the Opposition wins, his opinion counts for nothing in Parliament?

So, Pak Lah asks the Penangites to remember the last time it fell into Opposition hands in the 90's and remember the 'chaos' then. Maybe the reason why Penang suffered then was because the Government couldn't care less about it since it was under the Opposition? Anyway, looks like the Penangites are willing to take a chance this time. At least not everyone believes the trash the Government tells the newspapers to publish.

Is this why the administration was moved to Putrajaya, because you can't even hold your own capital? So if the Opposition are a bunch of squabblers who make empty promises, why is it they trounced BN in KL like how Man Utd thrashed Roma 7-1? Apparently, the public beg to differ. So who's the one making empty promises now?

Is this why the proposal to use indelible ink was called off last-minute? Maybe another attempt to gather some votes under the table, because you knew that the Opposition were stronger this time round (even with all the personal, often-unrelated attacks on them in the newspapers)?

Is this why you and your keris-waving kakis launched a hate campaign against bloggers and the cyberworld? Because you knew what they said was TRUE, and you didn't like it? Don't you long for the days in the past when the internet and bloggers didn't exist, and you could say all you like in the newspapers without worrying about being challenged? Isn't it sad that while we aim to become and IT-savvy nation, your very own IT-illiterate ministers make false claims and ruthlessly attack those who speak the TRUTH on the internet?

I could go on and on, but I have a music camp next week which is of far more importance to me than the clueless nonsense I've been reading for the past few days in the newspapers. C'mon DAP and PKR, give BN hell in Parliament!

Yours faithfully,

David Ling

(Yeah go ahead and put me in jail, you're just giving more ammunition to the public, and guess who the guns are pointed at?)
