Demonstrations and Donuts
I could blog about the recent BERSIH rally in KL, but I won't for the time being because
1. I can't vote until I'm 21, so my opinion doesn't count at the moment right?
2. As a Malaysian blogger, Najib says that what I write in my blog is rubbish and substandard (even though he himself doesn't read blogs). The original interview has disappeared from Malaysia-Today so you can get the gist of it from Mac's blog.
On the other hand, if this is how the government is supposed to convince me to vote for them (by spraying chemicals on the public and insulting Al Jazeera on international TV), they're not doing a very good job.
So anyway, let's talk about more important things.
After many recommendations from my Indonesian friends, I braved the rain and the Monorail to get to KL's latest and hippest shopping mall, The Pavilion, so I could try the equally hip and famous J.CO Donuts.

I was lucky enough to get my donuts after only 15 minutes, probably due to the gloomy weather today. One of my friends apparently waited 45 minutes for hers, and my Jazz lecturer at ICOM gave up after queuing for 30 minutes before being told the person in front of him had been waiting for an hour already.

They cost me RM11.50 for a half dozen, which is a little bit more expensive than Dunkin Donuts, but they certainly are worth it!
So, if you live in KL, by all means make your way to Bukit Bintang and try out these fabulous donuts! They're definitely worth your time and money.
I'm going back to Kuching tomorrow because I need a haircut to finish off my projects, and I'm bringing back three of these delicious donuts, so if you come over to my place before my family finishes them all, you just might get to try one for free...
