Reconditioning
If there was one thing I managed to do during my short Raya break, it was to consistently sleep at 5am and wake up at 2pm the next day. For me, it's so easy to get used to sleeping and waking later and later. Unfortunately, it does not work the other way around. (Pretty obvious huh, guess what time I'm writing all this?)
College resumes as normal tomorrow at 9am. Well, it's only English, and usually I would skip it as there's nothing else on Wednesday. However, it's my turn to perform at ICOM this Friday (compulsory for everyone to play on stage at least once each semester), and I need to get to ICOM early to book a practice room. Thanks to the Raya holidays I haven't had the chance to practice with my band members. It doesn't help that practice rooms are constantly in demand, ie first come first serve. Heck, sometimes the seniors would ask us juniors with 9am classes to book the rooms for them, so that they don't miss out. Who says musicians are not kiasu?
Anyway, back to the topic. I'm writing this because I cannot sleep. (Duh....) Went to bed at 12.30am, tossed and turned and woke up at 1am, went back to sleep, tossed and turned and woke up again at 3.50am, and this time I couldn't go back to sleep. Sigh. Blog about it la. Maybe I'll try stay up till my class. I'll be at college till evening tomorrow, so by 10pm I should be sleepy and ready for bed. Then, everything will be all right.
Wishful thinking.
Abusing one's body does not necessarily mean taking drugs or smoking.
