It's only halfway through January but so many of my former classmates have left or are going to leave to study, work etc. Had a farewell dinner for Javier and Richard last week at San Fransisco Grill and sent off Agan at the airport a fortnight ago to Massachusetts for his AFS thing (lucky him, 6 months of fun). Melvin and a few others have already started their A-levels at Sedaya; Caleb will be leaving for Planetshakers College in Perth early next month. By the time I leave for KL in July I'll probably be the only one left in Kuching. As Jia Wern said, the advantage of being one of the last to leave is that we get to attend everyone's farewell dinners/parties/outings but when it comes to our turn there won't be anyone around to attend our farewell party. Well at least I found out today that the MPYO music camp in March will be held at Universiti Teknologi Petronas (UTP) in Perak, so I'll probably be able to meet Jave and Richard there. Until then, all the best to those leaving for further studies!
